Dulcinea’s Review of Tales From a Not-So-Fabulous Life (Dork Diaries #1)

Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous Life (Dork Dairies #1)Dulcinea gives this a thumbs up!

The Dork Diaries is about a middle-schooler’s life. With a popular girl around, Nikki is now known as a “DORK!” MacKenzie (the popular girl) treats Nikki with disrespect and always embarrasses her. Can Nikki survive a year like this?

I really like this book because it is hilarious! Nikki is always telling funny stories. In addition, it looks like a hand-written diary with drawings. I think middle-school girls will like this book the most.

  1. This looks like something I might want to read. What was your favorite part of the book? Are you going to read the next book in the series? If so, will you write a review?

    • My favorite part was when Nikki won fist place in the avante-garde competition. She won the award because her friends took photos of the tattoos. I am going to read the next book in the series and yes I will write a review. Thanks for visiting my Blog.

    • Probably not since you’ve already graduated form middle-school and you’re not a girl, but you might like the Heroes of Olympus series and some stories from The Dork Diaries.

    • Dulcinea,
Well I like that you think I would like the “Heroes of Olympus,” but not sure I’d care for the “Dork Diairies.”

    • It’s about a middle-schooler. They’ll like some of the things that happen to her because it might happen to them. Like how people trip her at lunch. And how some people make fun of her because they are the popular ones and they just want her driven out of there.
